New^ Blog^!

i'm finally ready to switch over to the new and improved and prettier blog!

i've re-done all of my branding with a lovely graphics girl and have finally gotten all my ducks in a row with the updated website and shiny new blog!

i'm here with a preview of the images from yesterday's wedding!

the wedding was wonderful!  the afternoon ceremony was held at hyde park presbyterian, where matt's father is a pastor and co-officiated the ceremony.  the reception took place at the tampa firefighter's museum in downtown tampa.

it feels so good to have my first wedding under my belt!  it was so much fun to be there on this most special day of their lives and i was completely exhausted by the end from all the excitement and hoopla.

pre-wedding

tomorrow i shoot my first wedding.

i feel like it's the night before the first day of school.

i even turned down two offers for free dinners out and ate cereal instead because i just feel like tonight i need to do nothing but focus on being ready for tomorrow.  mainly, i want to read my entire flash manual front to back.  sounds like a hoot, huh?  i hope i can stay awake.

other than that, i've charged all my batteries (i'm bringing 3 camera batteries and 12 flash batteries.  sooo overkill, but i can't bring myself to not do it), picked out my clothes (which i thoroughly hate, but everything i own is in boxes and i did the best i could with what i could find. sigh.), google mapped the ceremony and reception location, and made a flash card cheat sheet of things i can't forget.
